This course, along with the corresponding Portuguese for Speakers of Spanish II, is designed as an accelerated introductory course for speakers with a sound knowledge of Spanish. The course will cover the basics of Portuguese grammar and present selected aspects of the cultures of the Portuguese speaking countries.
