Summer at Georgetown HousingOffice of Summer and Conference Housing Summer at Georgetown Housing Accommodation InformationMany of Georgetown's on-campus residential facilities have been fully renovated in the past few years. The air-conditioned accommodations are comfortable, convenient, and economically priced. Earlier arrival dates or later departure dates are not offered. Summer School students cannot be housed in the same room/apartment as interns. Residence Hall room sizes and layouts vary. Each room is furnished with a bed, desk with a hutch, and a chair for each resident. Bookshelves, drawers, and closets are built-in to each room. Rooms are carpeted, air-conditioned, and have their own temperature control. On-Campus apartment sizes and layouts vary. Each apartment contains two to three bedrooms, a living room and dining area, a bathroom, and a full kitchen which includes a refrigerator, freezer, overstove, and a sink with a garbage disposal. Some refrigerators may not be full-sized. Some apartments may have built-in bunk beds and furniture. All apartments are carpeted and air-conditioned. Residence Hall rooms and Apartments are not equipped with: pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, desk lamps, pots/pans, utensils, microwaves, telephones, televisions, wastepaper baskets. Occupancy AgreementThe Occupancy Agreement for Summer Housing is available from the Office of Summer and Conference Housing. They may be contacted at: summerhousing@georgetown.edu or by calling (202) 687-3001. You must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible to live in Georgetown University housing during the summer. Exceptions are made only for incoming Georgetown University students who are required to take summer courses for credit as a condition of their matriculation for the fall semester. Under those circumstances, written documentation from a University Official must be provided with the Occupancy Agreement. High school students must be part of a program sponsored by the School of Continuing Studies. Incomplete Occupancy Agreements will be returned without being processed. The Office of Summer and Conference Housing will email confirmation of receiving your Occupancy Agreement within two weeks after the receipt of the Occupancy Agreement. You will receive your building assignment and arrival instructions approximately four weeks prior to your arrival to campus; with room assignments provided upon arrival. To ensure a smooth check-in, verify that your charges are paid in full prior to your arrival if you sent your payment close to the arrival date. Without full payment, check-in will not be permitted.
